Brian Gallagher B. Arch, M Met
Brian Gallagher is an RIAI registered architect and cofounder of the Barcelona based magazine and online platform B-Guided. Qualified from UCD, Dublin he subsequently completed a Masters Degree under the Metropolis programme directed by Ignasi de Solà-Morales awarded by the UPC, Barcelona. After several years in private practice specialising in residential and commercial projects as well as lecturing at his Alma Mater he moved back to Barcelona in 2009 where he combines copy writing and other journalistic activities for clients in the design sector including companies such as Roca, Gandiablasco, Vibia and Enea. He is the cofounder of Barcelona Design Tours, a project that brings together several of the strands that reflect his professional career and interests.
Suzanne Wales
Suzanne Wales is an Australian journalist who as a teenager pinned up photos of Gaudí’s architecture onto her bedroom wall. She moved here in 1992, and started to write about the arts and culture scene in her adopted home. She is a regular contributor to Dwell, Frame Magazine, Wallpaper* and other design publications, and is still constantly bowled over by Barcelona’s visual richness. She spends most of her free time poking around Barcelona’s independent boutiques and flea markets, and likes nothing more than discovering wearable clogs in old ladies shoe shops.
